On August 7th, 2004 I picked up a "stone white" 2002 Dodge Neon ACR to be used as a daily driver with some autocross use.
The ACR is a special order package for the Neon targeted more specifically for the SCCA audience. ACR stands for
"American Club Racer". A base Neon is used and the R/T engine (2.0 liter, 150 HP) is installed. It also comes with
a competition suspension. Everything else is optional. To save on weight such things as electric windows, cruise control,
and such are passed on - mine has manual windows but came with air conditioning and a stereo with 10 CD changer as
options as part of the "convenience" package. The car had only 22K miles on it when I picked it up.
